Friday Reivew

• I've been feeling in a blogging mood lately for some reason so I've decided to do a Friday review. And I'm going to going to say that I'm bringing Friday Review's back into the picture because knowing me, I'll say that and then the next week, I won't be in the blogging mood anymore.
• Does anyone know what expression: Crossing the Rubicon means? I thought I knew...but I was waaay off. haha
• Tomorrow is the Farmer's Day Parade which reminds me of last year when Dad and I went. We were walking over to the parade and Dad was saying, "I wonder if next year we will be going to watch this with the little twins." This time last year was about the time that Zach was talking about coming up here again. I can't tell you how happy I am that they are finally up here now. It feels like they have been here for whole time now.
• I have got a serious rash thing on my leg. #weird

• Haha I seriously will say hashtags all the time because I'm weird that way. ;)
• Today Dad came home and told me that we were going to clean the porch off. So I sprayed some stuff and Dad scrubbed it. ;)
• After I helped Dad, I got our old tripod out and took some wonderful pictures. Well, they look about the same but since I had weird settings, I had to use a tripod or else they would be all blurry. 
• Here is something I learned this week: Do NOT watch 'The Boy in Stripped Pajamas' without a Kleenex. Just...don't. Next time I am going to plan on having a full box of kleenex by me. 
• I've been thinking about Monday too because I have a piano recital that night. Yay for me. Hopefully I don't mess up like crazy...that would be embarrassing...haha.
• Well, I'm going to go bug Tommy now...

Catch up!

 Sorry for no posts lately. Life has been busy and and I really haven't stopped to take time to blog! So I'll do a quick post to catch up....=)

•  We recently went to Papa's house for his 89th birthday. I will hopefully do a post about that soon. On Sunday while we were there I stayed home from church to find a bunch of pictures of Papa so I could scan them at home. I love, love, love going through those dresses at his house and founding old pictures. This time my favorite treasure to bring home was 2 really old news papers dated in 1945!! The Headlines on one of the papers said, "HITLER DEAD" and another one said, "FDR dies." That was Franklin Roosevelt. Anyways, yesterday I sat down a actually looked at them. It was so cool to read. Everything was about WWII and it was really cool. I could almost picture myself back in that time. 
• On Sunday a few of us went down to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see Aunt Marlene and the girls. It was fun. Nikki and I sat out on Grandma's front step and looked at pictures from Florida. :)
• Do you want to know what I'm doing a lot of lately? Scanning pictures of Papa onto our computer. It is actually really fun. I love seeing pictures and so this was a good job for me. Here is one of my favorite pictures from when he was young. It isn't my favorite though. There is one that is my most favorite picture of him ever...but....I couldn't find it when we went to Papa's last so next time I will look really hard for it.

• Karin and the boys drove from Florida with Jamie and Corine to com visit us! It was really fun to see them. On Friday we got to babysit them while Karin did something else and it was so much fun to have them. I dressed them up like cowboys and took some pictures. :) 

I edited them so they look old but when I look a that picture of Papa, I can see that
they really don't look all that old! ;)

• Today I went shopping and found some more summer clothes so I'm happy. 
• I am vowing to read more books this summer. Maybe if I do I'll tell you about them all at the end of summer. Oh man...I don't want to think about fall already!
• Well, I have work to do. Stay tuned for more! :)

Friday Review

It is Saturday but whatever

• I'm doing this on Saturday because Friday was really busy so I didn't have time. Here are some things I did:
• Dad and I got 18 chicks! They are cute right now but probably won't be in awhile. I'm hoping for a sunny day soon so I can take them out for some pictures
• I made Rockey Road Fudge Bars for the boys and I felt guilty while I was making them. They are so packed with un-healthy ingredients that its just crazy. I like to make un-healthy things but not that un-healthy. The bottom layer is just a basic bar part and then the middle layer has cream cheese, butter, sugar, etc. with chocolate chips and marshmallows on top. Then the top layer is more chocolate. Its just really unhealthy. 
• Mom and Janeal went to a women's retreat and the rest of us are home so after dinner we watched a movie. Then after that movie was done we watched another movie about a history guy. Has anyone here heard of Drive Thru History? It is about history but the guy who does it is funny so it is entertaining. :) I got to bed at 10:30 but then read a book in bed until 11:20. I would have kept reading because my book was so good but I was tired. 
• So thats what I did yesterday!! :))
• Mom bought me a super soft, big, fluffy, fuzzy, super soft, blanket. Its so soft!!
• Well, I am going to go now because I probably should.

Friday review

Wow, I haven't done a Friday review in forever!!

• yesterday was the Honors recital and it was fun! Brad won and a girl that I sorta, not really know, took 2nd! Several other people that I know got honorable mentions.
• I found 3 4-leaf clovers on St. Patricks Day
•  My piano teacher gave me my spring recital piece! Think....very popular Beethoven piano piece....Alright, if you thought, "Moonlight sonata!" then you are wrong. Hahahaha. ;) maybe I won't tell you..
•  in spanish class we got done 30 minutes early so we got to work on our activities. Those are just like writing spanish sentences or answering questions.
• I just recently finished the book  'Lucy Winchester' and it is so sad! 
• this morning I woke up with a nose bleed...seriously?! It was a pretty good alarm clock though...
•  I'm playing Fur Elise :)

Saturday Review

Hi

• So, I have to go help Emily make our beds....I'll be right back....
• Wow...that took us 5 minutes..:)
• I need to finish my hand nails...
• I got a fake 'hand' for Christmas and you can practice nail designs on it. I am designing a Valentine idea on it sooo we'll see if it works or not :)
• How did your Christmas go? Mine was fun. I got a nail filer, some earrings that broke, =\ a bracelet, a drama book CD, a Bible which is nice because mine was totally falling apart, and a stocking! I got some gum, a hand, some chocolate, and some perfume from Dad in my stocking. :) We went to Grandma's for more presents but my present isn't done yet. When it is, I'll  put up a picture! ;)
• Right now Emily and I are the only ones at home and I'm working on my nails....Emily is writing Thank you notes which I should probably do. Anyways, we just watched a movie that is totally my new favorite:))
• Soo we are re-doing our family room!! Yay! We are finally re-doing our family room. It is a cozy room but it had some bad-ish carpet in it so yesterday William re-did the carpet so now it is like a cozy soft brown. And, we got rid of our old TV that was old (did you get the hint?;) and we put our bookshelf over were the TV was and thats about it. We have to put the computer back in its normal spot and then we might get a few more things like a TV. :)
• I just realized that I need to start working on my "End of the Year" post! I can't believe that its already the end of the year again. This year I might get my Year End post out on TIME!! ;)
• Okay, my nails on my fake hand are dry so I'm gonna finish them. If they turn out I'll take a picture! :)

Christmas Eve Review

HI

• So I'm just a little annoyed right now because I put some pictures on the computer and now they aren't there....Oh dear...I'm gonna have to work on this. 
• So, I decided to do a 'Friday Review' on a Tuesday....
• Today is Christmas Eve! Are ya'll doing anything fun? We have a candle light Christmas Eve service at our church and I'm a little nervous because my siblings and I are singing special music...
• It snowed the other day and I took some many pretty pictures! I even had Tommy take my picture so I could change my profile picture!! :) I might post some of those soon. I even took some pictures of the Holly bush again with snow on it. It was pretty. :)
• On Saturday Emily and I went to Grandma's to make cookies. We made 10 different kinds. It was fun. :)
• Well, I'm off to eat lunch....Have a great Christmas!

Friday Review

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

• Okay so its not Christmas yet but whatevers. <is that even a word? 
• I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and ate lots of yummy food. Today we are having our thanksgiving. We always go to Uncle Fred's house for Thanksgiving but the day after we have our Thanksgiving with just our family. Yesterday Janeal was babysitting so we weren't able to have it yesterday but we will today.
• Yesterday William, Tommy, and I set up our Christmas stuff! William has the outside job of putting all our lights up (there will be a picture next week or sooner ;) Tommy has the job of the stair way...putting up garland and lights. I got the job of getting all our little Christmas stuff out and putting the fall stuff away. I got to use some of my decorations from the Harvest Festival so I was happy about that. ;) 
• I woke up at 5:00 yesterday to go shopping. It was not funny. After awhile I woke up and got serious about shopping. We saw some of our friends at Fred Meyer so that was fun. :) Oh and I got this super cute owl necklace so thats exciting. It was super long though when I put it on but Dad made it shorter some how....
• Well...I should probably go. I kinda need to eat breakfast but there isn't much to eat. I guess I'll go find something.

Friday review

Hey...

• So Mom and Dad are in Florida this week and the kids have been having fun at home! ;) 
• Since Mom and Dad are gone.....we (meaning the kids left at home) have been watching movies....;) We got some at the library. We watched two new ones that are now on my favorite list. The Incredibles and Wreck-it Ralph. The incredibles is an old movie that we haven't ever watched, but it is so funny. I was laughing just about how hard I was laughing while I was watching Monster U! ;) Wreck- it Ralph just came out....like this year. It is a cute and creative movie. 
• All of these mornings have been so pretty! I love it when it is frosty out. :) Sooo...I got Tommy's camera and took some pictures! I will probably do a post about them pretty soon. :)
• Yesterday Tommy and I made some sugar cookies. I think mine looked prettier then his....;) I was being all careful about how I did mine and Tommy would just get some frosting and put it on and call it good....(picture below)
• This week I (finally) cleaned out the Chicken coop. Their straw was getting wet (there must be a leak in the roof or something...) so I changed it! 
• Note to self: try not to sneeze when you are singing  Hallelujah. On Monday I had to sneeze and it was right in the middle of singing that song and I was thinking, "This is going to be impossible to sneeze and keep singing at the same time...."
• Okay. I need to go practice the piano. Oh guess what? My teacher gave me a coffee card for practicing and I got a warm apple cider with it. ;)
