Isabelle organized a tea party that I went to on Friday afternoon
along with lots of other girls.

Roasting marshmallows at the Balvanz's site.

William and Jansen at our campsite early Saturday morning.

Michael and Janeal played ball with some of the kids

Isabelle pushed around Gwen and I just had to take a picture of her!
She is such a cutie!

The Olympics

Running through  the ropes

Caleb and Tommy making hot chocolate the next morning.

Ultimate  spoons. That was really fun!

Running for the spoons!

After Sunday lunch I said to Colby, "Lets start a waterfight," and we
did! It turned into a very big waterfight!

Driving home. We followed lots of people that we knew for a little ways
home.

I had a ton of fun at the campout. I didn't really get that many pictures because I was having so much fun!  Saturday was sooooo hot! Everyone was really warm during the Olympics and afterwards I talked Mom and Dad into letting me go down to the lake with a bunch of my friends. That was so refreshing to jump into the lake. Thankfully I didn't get swimmer's itch!  I forgot to bring the camera that time which was disappointing because I know that I probably would have got some fun pictures.
Also, Ultimate spoons was really fun too. We all sat in a circle and when someone got 4 of the same cards, everyone would go running as fast as they could to get a spoon! I'm not in the picture because I didn't get a spoon in time so I was out. But, I soon got to play again. =)
Anyways, hope you like all the pictures!

Getting ready for the Campout

My list of things to bring.

We set up the tent to see if it was big enough for all of us. It looks like it
worked! =)

I painted my toe nails for the campout too. Do you like them?

Our box of food to bring.

loading up the van

And, yes, we are bringing a microwave. =)

Janeal's backpack and her sleeping bag all ready to go.

And my backpack too. =]

I am starting to get really excited for the campout! Since my siblings were able to get the day off work, we are going to leave on Friday afternoon instead of Friday evening. We still have a bit more work to do before we leave so I better quit blogging and see what I can do to help. I'll see some of you at the campout but until then, have a good weekend!
*Be ready to get a bunch of pictures from the campout!*

Counting Down the Days

As most of you know, our church has an annual campout in the beginning of August. And as some of you also know, we never 'stay over night and camp.' (Well, okay, I guess Zach and Emily got to stay with their friends once or twice but other than that, we never camped as a family because we have animals to take care of.) We would go on Saturdays though and have a ton of fun.
Well, this year we were talking about the campout and William just blurted out, "I'm going to the campout this year!" We just  looked at him and said, "Yeah, right." But then he said, "No, really, guys! I'm going to go! I will have my license and I'll drive up there." By this time we were starting to get excited and we started thinking that that might work! We kept on talking about it and figured that if we left on Friday night after everyone got home from work then we could stay until Sunday.
So, that is what I am counting down the days to. Next Friday after everyone gets home from work, Emily, Janeal, William, Tommy, and I are all heading up to the church campout!! We are going to be sharing with the Breakeys.  It is going to be a ton of fun! One time Emily asked what tent we are going to bring and William said, "I think we should bring the 2 man tent and the 7 man tent. Tommy and I will get the 7 man tent and the girls can get the 2 man tent." (of course he was just joking! 3 girls in the 2 man tent and 2 boys in the 7? haha, I don't think so!) We are just going to bring the 7 man tent though since we won't have room to bring 2 tents.
Since it is still a week away, I'm sure you will be hearing more about it since I will probably want to post more about it because I am so excited! (I would post a picture of the campout but we don't have any good ones since we haven't camped! But, you don't need to worry because I am going to take a ton of pictures and post them after the campout. =)
