Reminiscing in...2013 [?]

 So, why am I reminiscing in 2013, you wonder? Well, its because I was looking at pictures yesterday from Christmas of 2013 and thinking, "How did I miss all of these fun pictures?" I think that Christmas this last year was sort of forgotten about with Granny passing away and everything. I thought it would be fun to do a post about Christmas even if it is way late.

This picture wasn't taken on Christmas but I like it so I put it up.

 All of us kids slept downstairs on Christmas Eve because we all thought it would be a fun idea. Well. Maybe I should say...everyone slept downstairs except for Emily and I. I decided to retreat to my bed at midnight and Emily came with. But, I woke up early the next morning and later I told them that I had gone up to my bed and they didn't think that was that was good of me. In this picture, Michael is bringing his sleeping bag and pillow back upstairs because it was Christmas morning. :)

William bought himself a present from Granny and Papa's Christmas
money and then put a bow on it and wrote that tag. He is so weird. ;P

The phone usually rings when we are opening
our presents so we all have to wait for Mom to stop talking
before we can keep going. I'm not sure what Dad is doing in this
picture though. Haha:)

Okay, those were a couple Christmas pictures. Now I'm posting some pictures of when we got new carpet for the family room. This project was a couple days after Christmas

Thankful that William knew enough about carpet so that we
didn't have to hire someone to come do it!

Meanwhile...in the kitchen. Haha...it was actually really fun having
the couch in the kitchen. After I took a bunch of pictures, I sat on
it and played Minon Rush on Emily's ipad.

spot. 

So, I know that this post was waaaay late, but I'm glad that I was able to do it. Maybe if we do something like this again this year, I post about it sooner. ;) I still want to get some decorations for our family room. Even Janeal thinks that it doesn't really seem done yet. I think it would be great to get some kind of stand for our TV because right now its just hanging on the wall. Maybe Janeal and I should start getting some more decorations for like our fireplace thingy too.
